The National School of Open Schooling was
previously known as National Open School. It is an Education Board which was
established under Union Government of India. This education board was
established with a view to provide education and eradicate illiteracy in remote
areas of India. This Education board also provide flexible timings and students
can learn even without coming to the schools. Although it was established for
distance learning, NIOS also provided secondary and Senior Secondary Education
equivalent to CBSE.
This year also, NIOS has successfully conducted the Board exams of 10th and 12th students and students are eagerly waiting for their results. However, students have to wait a little longer as the results are yet to be announced within one month.

National Institute of Open Schooling conduct
X and XII board examination twice in a year. Generally in the month of March-April and in
October-November these exams are conducted. The results of the Board Exams of X and XII
standard will be announced within one month on the official website of National
Institute of Open Schooling.
How to Check the NIOS 10th 12th Class 2018 Result?

Students are required to visit
the official website of NIOS and then search for the exam result.

directly visit the official page using this link: www.nios.ac.in/examresult.aspx

After visiting the webpage, students have to
click on the ‘Result of March 2018 Examination’, then put correct ‘Roll Number’
and finally click ‘Submit’.

Secondary Education twice in a year and also with the introduction of its key
feature called Re-evaluation.
NIOS Re-evaluation Form 2018
The concept of Revaluation of answer sheets
was introduced by NIOS in the year 2010 and is only applicable for Senior
Secondary Exams (Not for secondary exam). Revaluation gives the right to
the student to apply for the re-evaluation of the answer paper of written
examination. However, student has to bear the cost of Rs.800/- per subject for
re-evaluation of the paper. Also, students should note that they can only apply
for the re-evaluation with in the 15 days of the date of result. Any
application for Re-evaluation after 15 days shall not be entertained.

and Compartments Exam Form 2018
There is a big benefit to the candidates
due to the NIOS conducting the board examination twice in a year. If any
candidate who had appeared for the March-April board exams is not satisfied
with his/her result then he/she can appear again for the exam in the month of
October-November with the improve his percentage. In this way the candidate is
not liable to wait for an entire year to appear for exam as in case of CBSE 10th
and 12th Board Examinations. However, in order to appear for the
October-November slot, a candidate has to apply again.
Same is the case with the candidates
getting compartment in the board examinations. If any student gets compartment
in his board exam conducted in the month of March-April then he/she can, by
re-applying, appear for the exams in October-November to improve his result.
There is no argue that CBSE Education board
is one of the best in the country but it does not provide any second chance to
the candidates. CBSE Board candidates have to wait for an entire year in case
they want to improve their percentage.
